Old Durbar 15yrs Blended Malt Scotch 750 ml

This Blended Malt Scotch Whisky is carefully aged over a span of 20 years, starting with 15 years in traditional American oak barrels. The aging process in these barrels softens the whisky, imparting a rich, smooth flavor with notes of wood, vanilla, and coconut. Afterward, the whisky is transferred to Oloroso sherry barrels for an additional 4 years, further enriching its profile with fruity, nutty, and full-bodied characteristics. These sherry casks, imported from Jerez, Spain, contribute a complex and deep flavor to the whisky.

The final stage of aging takes place in Pedro Ximenez sherry barrels, where the whisky is finished for one more year. This imparts a distinct sherry sweetness, along with a raisin overtone that complements the earlier layers of flavor. The combination of these three barrels results in a blended malt Scotch whisky with a balanced, nuanced flavor profile, rich in both depth and smoothness.
