Old Durbar 15yrs Blended Malt Scotch 750ML

This Blended Malt Scotch Whisky is aged for 15 years in American oak barrels, then an additional 4 years in Oloroso sherry barrels and 1 more year in Pedro Ximenez barrels.

FIRST BARREL :: WHISKY OAK
The Scotch Malt constituent of this blend is aged for 15 years in traditional American oak barrels in Scotland. This aging process mellows the maturing spirit and imparts a rich taste with warming layers of wood, vanilla, and coconut notes.

SECOND BARREL :: OLOROSO SHERRY OAK
After the initial aging in American oak barrels, the Scotch Malt is further aged for four years in European oak Oloroso sherry barrels in Nepal. This additional aging process adds a fruity, nutty, and full-bodied profile. The Oloroso sherry barrels imported from Jerez, Spain bring together much of the complex character to this blended malt Scotch whisky.

THIRD BARREL :: PEDRO XIMINEZ OAK
After aging in Oloroso sherry barrels, the Scotch Malt is further transferred and finished for an additional year in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks in Nepal. This imparts a sherry sweetness and a raisin overtone.
